PLOT
A group of seven friends are spending the weekend at a house in the middle of nowhere when a shape-shifting creature infiltrates their home. No one can be trusted.
Audio Commentary
ABOUT
Joseph and his friend, Angel Delgado, worked hard on creating the short film, based on Anasi’s Goat man story. The idea was tossed around in February of 2018, and by August of that year, the duo started working on the project, creating a script and purchasing the necessary equipment. by October, filming began. the short was filmed in two days and it took a month to edit.
The film is currently uploaded to Joseph’s YouTube channel.
CAST AND CREW
Friends of Joseph and Angel helped with the project, seven youths were cast in the film, and two people helped behind the scenes with Makeup effects and audio recording.
Makeup and Practical Effects
Joseph’s sister, Rebekah Delgado, helped with the makeup and practical effects in the film. the application of practical make up and blood effects took over two hours to apply to the Actors.
TEST VIDEO
Before filming began in October, the crew filmed a short test sequence in September. the short sequence took around 2 hours to film, and about 2-4 hours to edit together.
BUDGET
Joseph and Angel plotted out what needed to be purchased for the short film. They then created a kickstarter to fund the project, but the kickstarter did not take off, so the ended up purchasing the equipment themselves.
The film coast around $3,000 dollars.
