Concept Art

concept art created from scenes in the story. A sci-fi adventure animated film, with inspiration taken from films like Akira, Tron: Legacy, The Warriors, and 2001 a Space Odyssey.

Characters

The main cast of characters in this story were inspired by Joseph’s real life friends and family.

Spaceships and Weapons

The Axiom’s design is bulky, and unorthodox. A design that shows it’s not really built for speed but more for spectacle.

The Axiom

the Axiom is the main spaceship that the whole story revolves around. It’s not just a backdrop for conflict, it’s a character in itself.

Beetle Craft

the Beetle Crafts are the transportation units that dock inside the massive Axiom. Joseph wanted the ships to look like bugs, but also like military crafts. the design is still being re-tooled and worked on, but it remains mostly the same.

Weapons

There are five weapon types in the story. Each weapon in the original story was inspired by one of Joseph’s friends.  The design of the weapons have remained mostly the same, but the names have changed.

About

Joseph started working on this Project in 2015.

It was originally created for his friends and included their names and likeness. The first script was created for a short animated video series, but the project has grown since then. Now with a third re-write, Joseph is working on turning this project into a feature length Animated film.

SOUNDTRACK

the soundtrack has already been created by the amazingly talented Federico Coderoni. It incorporates a combination of synth sounds and real world instruments, taking inspiration from films like Blade Runner 2049, Tron Legacy, and many others.

Italian-born music composer, Federico Coderoni works in Berlin also as music producer and sound engineer. He graduated from the esteemed conservatory of music, Santa Cecilia, with a degree in Composition of Electroacoustic Music and is best known as the brains behind several music productions released by Cosecomuni Recording Studio.
